伊豆 静岡の魅力
THE CHARM OF IZU&SHIZUOKA.
静岡県は本州のほぼ真ん中に位置し，富士山や駿河湾に代表される起伏に富んだ豊かな自然と太平洋に面した温暖な気候で知られています．
静岡県の北側は世界遺産に登録されている富士山をはじめとして，3000メートル級の山々が連なっています．南側は約500キロメートルの海岸線が続く，自然豊かな地域です。
伊豆半島は本州で唯一フィリピン海プレートの上に位置し「南から来た火山の贈りもの」として自然豊かで独特の自然環境を生み出しています．
Shizuoka Prefecture is located in the center of Honshu, and is known for its abundant undulating nature represented by Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay and its warm climate facing the Pacific Ocean.
On the north side of Shizuoka Prefecture, there are 3000m-class mountains, including Mt. Fuji, which is registered as a World Heritage Site. The south side is a region rich in nature with a coastline of about 500 kilometers.
The Izu Peninsula is the only one in Honshu located on the Philippine Sea Plate, creating a unique natural environment rich in nature as a "gift of a volcano from the south".

伊豆半島は静岡県東部から南へ約50km突き出し，西に駿河湾，東に相模湾に囲まれています．海岸は海底火山であった痕跡が残されており興味深い景観を見る事が出来ます．また海岸線は磯浜海岸で美しくきれいな水に囲まれています．

The Izu Peninsula protrudes about 50km south of the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture, and is surrounded by Suruga Bay to the west and Sagami Bay to the east. The coast has traces of being a submarine volcano, and you can see an interesting landscape. The coastline is the Isohama coast and is surrounded by beautiful and clean water.
